Fisher-Price is a toy company owned by Mattel that produces for children and infants. The company is known for producing the Geotrax system, Imaginext, and licensed toys including Disney and Sesame Street.

In 2009, the Thomas TrackMaster and the Take-Along Thomas ranges were bought from HiT Toy Company and Learning Curve, respectively, and were manufactured by Fisher-Price in countries outside Asia starting from the end of the same year, with Take-Along being renamed to Take-n-Play. Various other preschool toys such as Push Along engines have also been produced. In 2011, Fisher-Price also bought the Thomas Wooden Railway from TOMY, the company who had previously bought from Learning Curve, produced the range from 2013. This means that Mattel's Fisher-Price own rights from the Thomas and Friends license for all three major toy systems. In 2014, the Thomas Motorized Railway and Thomas Collectible Railway systems were released in parts of Asia.
